Search Terms are used when looking for information on the internet. Since there is so much information available, most people refine their searches to discover the most relevant web pages. For example if you were looking for accommodation on Lanzarote, you would get better results by typing in the Search Box “lanzarote accommodation” rather than “lanzarote” which would show anything to do with the island or “accommodation” which could be located anywhere in the world.

So here we have another area of special development, as an add-on extra. There are ways of identifying lots of Search Terms that people regularly use. Popular Search Terms are important but it’s also a good idea to find lesser used Search Terms where there may be less competition from other web sites.

Once we identify these words and terms, then there is the art of building them into your site in the way that Search Engines will respond, positively by listing your site early in the Search Report.
